The ReplyGuy alternative that keeps you on your own Reddit account
What ReplyGuy does well
ReplyGuy is cheap and hands-off. Plans start at $10 a month, it covers Reddit and X, and once it’s set up, replies go out without you. On X it suggests replies for you to post, and a $39 Analyst plan does monitoring only, with no auto-replies.
If you want volume and accept the trade-offs, it removes almost all of the work.
Where people get stuck
- It isn’t your account. On Reddit, replies come from accounts ReplyGuy bought, not from you. Reddit’s rules ask people to participate authentically and not to mislead others, and promotional replies from accounts with no history in a community are exactly what moderators and filters look for.
- No conversation to continue. If a buyer answers, they’re answering an account you didn’t build and a reply you didn’t write. Deals close in that conversation.
- Your brand carries the risk. Communities notice when strangers keep recommending the same product, and they say so in public.

When ReplyGuy is the better choice

- You only want monitoring across Reddit and X: the Analyst plan is $39 a month.
- You want fully automated volume and accept the account and brand risk that comes with it.
How to switch in 10 minutes
- Paste your website. Hubbub reads it and drafts your profile: what you sell, who buys it, and the facts your replies can use. Drafts only say what’s written there.
- Check how buyers ask for it. Edit the phrases under “How buyers ask for it on Reddit”; they become your lead searches. Add competitors and your disclosure line.
- See who asked this past week. Hubbub shows real posts from the last seven days and suggests communities to watch. Add any subreddit you like.
- Pick a voice. Founder, expert or friendly helper.
- Reply to your first lead. Open the hottest lead in your pipeline, edit the draft, then click “Copy & open thread” and post it from your own account.
Bring your ReplyGuy keywords into “How buyers ask for it on Reddit”. You’ll post fewer replies, but each one comes from you and can turn into a conversation.
