Terms of Service
Last updated: 19 October 2026
These terms cover your use of Hubbub (tryhubbub.com), including the Hubbub Connect browser extension. “Hubbub”, “we” and “us” mean the operator of Hubbub. “You” means the person using Hubbub and, if you use it for a business, that business.
By creating an account or using Hubbub, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Hubbub.
What Hubbub does
Hubbub helps businesses find Reddit threads where people are asking for what they sell, drafts replies in the business’s voice with AI, and tracks leads through a pipeline — spotted, replied, talking, meeting, won. Replies are only ever sent after a person approves them, from that person’s own browser and Reddit account.
A young product
Hubbub is a young product. Features may change, be added or be removed, and the service may sometimes be unavailable or behave unexpectedly. We’ll do our best to keep your data safe and the service reliable, but it is provided as it is.
Your account
You need an account to use Hubbub. Give us accurate information, keep your login details secure, and tell us at hello@tryhubbub.com if you think someone else has accessed your account. You’re responsible for what happens in your account and workspace, including actions by teammates you invite. You must be at least 18 to use Hubbub.
Following Reddit's rules
You are responsible for how you use Reddit. When you use Hubbub, you must follow Reddit’s User Agreement, Reddit’s Content Policy, and the rules of every subreddit you post in.
Where Reddit or a community requires you to disclose your affiliation with a product or business, you must do so. Hubbub adds a disclosure line to drafts that mention your product; don’t remove it where disclosure is required.
Acceptable use
You must not use Hubbub to:
- spam, or post the same or near-identical content across threads or communities;
- manipulate votes, or ask others to;
- evade a ban or suspension from Reddit or from any subreddit;
- use multiple accounts to astroturf, fake independent recommendations or make a product look more popular;
- harass, threaten or target anyone;
- impersonate any person, business or organisation, or misrepresent your affiliation;
- post anything unlawful, deceptive, or that infringes someone else’s rights;
- interfere with, reverse engineer, overload or try to gain unauthorised access to Hubbub or anyone else’s workspace.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules or put Hubbub, Reddit communities or other users at risk.
The Hubbub Connect extension
The extension pairs with your workspace using a token, reads the Reddit pages you open to capture threads and confirm your posted replies, and sends replies you have approved from your own browser. You agree to:
- install it only in a browser and on a Reddit account that you control;
- keep your pairing token private, and revoke it if you think it has been exposed;
- not modify it, or use it or its connection to Hubbub, to automate posting without human approval or to get around Hubbub’s limits and safeguards.
AI drafts
Hubbub uses AI to score threads and write drafts. AI can be wrong: it can misread a thread, get facts wrong or suggest something that doesn’t fit a community. You must review every draft before you approve it. You are responsible for everything you post, whether or not Hubbub drafted it.
Your Reddit account
Hubbub is designed to help you participate on Reddit in a way communities welcome, but we can’t control Reddit or its moderators. We cannot guarantee that Reddit or any subreddit won’t remove your content, or restrict, suspend or ban your Reddit account, and we are not liable if that happens.
Not affiliated with Reddit
Hubbub is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Reddit, Inc. “Reddit” is a trademark of Reddit, Inc.
Your content
You own the content you put into Hubbub — your website details, profile, keywords, drafts, replies, notes and pipeline data. You give us a licence to store, copy, process and transmit that content, including sending it to our service providers such as AI providers, only as needed to run, secure and improve Hubbub for you. This licence ends when your content is deleted from Hubbub, apart from copies in backups for a limited time.
You confirm you have the right to give us the content you provide. Public Reddit content shown in Hubbub belongs to its authors and is subject to Reddit’s terms.
Third-party services
Hubbub relies on third parties, including Reddit, public Reddit archives and AI model providers. We’re not responsible for their services, availability or changes they make, which may affect what Hubbub can do.
Fees
Hubbub is a subscription, billed monthly in advance at the price of the plan you choose, which includes any tax that applies where you are. Each plan includes the limits shown on our pricing page (workspaces, communities, AI drafts, seats and Reddit accounts). A new account gets 7 days free with no card, with 1 workspace, 5 communities and 10 AI drafts; after that, you need a plan to keep using Hubbub. Upgrades take effect straight away and you pay the prorated difference; downgrades take effect at your next billing date. Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record, which also issues your invoices. Your subscription renews each month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from Settings; you keep access until the end of the period you’ve paid for, and we don’t refund partial months. If a payment fails, we may pause your access until it’s fixed. If we change the price, we’ll tell you at least 30 days before it applies to you.
Ending your use
You can stop using Hubbub at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing hello@tryhubbub.com. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if required by law, or if we stop offering Hubbub. Where reasonable, we’ll give you notice and a chance to export your data. Sections that by their nature should continue — such as disclaimers and limits on liability — continue after your access ends.
Disclaimers
To the extent the law allows, Hubbub is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or produce any particular results, leads or revenue.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, or for any loss arising from actions taken against your Reddit account. Our total liability for any claim relating to Hubbub is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for Hubbub in the 12 months before the claim and 100 US dollars.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any rights or liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the law that applies to you.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Hubbub changes. If a change is significant, we’ll let you know by email or in the app before it takes effect. If you keep using Hubbub after that, you accept the updated terms.
